17119 - Abu Yazid al-Qaratisi reported to us in what he wrote, Asbagh ibn al-Faraj informed us, saying: I heard ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Zayd ibn Aslam regarding His saying: "And do good as Allah has done good to you," he says: Do good with that which Allah has increased for you.
His saying, Exalted is He: "And do not seek corruption in the land. Indeed, Allah does not like the corrupters."
17120 - Yunus ibn ‘Abd al-A‘la reported to us by reading, Ibn Wahb informed us, Malik narrated to me, from Yahya ibn Sa‘id that he heard Sa‘id ibn al-Musayyib saying: Cutting gold and silver [coinage] is of the corruption in the land.
His saying, Exalted is He: "Indeed, Allah does not like the corrupters."
17121 - Abu Muhammad ibn Bint al-Shafi‘i reported to us in what he wrote to me, from his father or his uncle, Sufyan ibn ‘Uyaynah, regarding His saying: "Indeed, Allah does not like the corrupters," [he says]: He does not bring [them] near.
His saying, Exalted is He: "The corrupters."
17122 - Muhammad ibn al-‘Abbas, the freed slave of the Banu Hashim, narrated to us, Muhammad ibn ‘Amr Zunayj narrated to us, Salamah narrated to us, from Muhammad, from ‘Ikrimah or Sa‘id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn ‘Abbas regarding "Indeed, Allah does not like corruption," meaning: He does not like the doing of it, nor is He pleased with it.
His saying, Exalted is He: "He said, 'I was only given it because of knowledge I have.'"
17123 - Ahmad ibn Yahya ibn Malik al-Susi narrated to us, ‘Abd al-Wahhab, meaning Ibn ‘Ata’ al-Khaffaf, narrated to us, from Sa‘id, from Qatadah regarding His saying: "I was only given it because of knowledge I have," he says: Because of some goodness I have and knowledge I possess.
17124 - Abu Yazid al-Qaratisi reported to us in what he wrote to me, Asbagh ibn al-Faraj informed us, ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Zayd ibn Aslam narrated to us, regarding the saying of Allah: "I was only given it because of knowledge I have," he said: Had it not been for Allah’s pleasure with me and His knowledge of my merit, He would not have given me this. He then recited: "Did he not know that Allah had destroyed before him of generations those who were greater than him in power and greater in accumulation? And the criminals will not be questioned about their sins."
17125 - ‘Abd Allah ibn Sulayman narrated to us, al-Husayn ibn ‘Ali narrated to us, ‘Amir ibn al-Furat narrated to us, Asbat narrated to us, from al-Suddi, who said: "I was only given it because of knowledge I have," [means]: Allah knew that I was deserving of that.
١٧١١٩ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَزِيدَ الْقَرَاطِيسِيُّ فِيمَا كَتَبَ، أَنْبَأَ أَصْبَغُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ فِي قَوْلِهِ: وَأَحْسِنْ كَمَا أَحْسَنَ اللَّهُ إِلَيْكَ يَقُولُ:
أَحْسِنْ فِيمَا زَادَكَ اللَّهُ
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَلا تَبْغِ الْفَسَادَ فِي الْأَرْضِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لا يحب المفسدين
١٧١٢٠ - أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى قِرَاءَةً، أَنْبَأَ ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْمُسَيِّبِ يَقُولُ: قَطْعُ الذَّهَبِ وَالْوَرِقِ مِنَ الْفَسَادِ فِي الأَرْضِ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْمُفْسِدِينَ
١٧١٢١ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ بِنْتِ الشَّافِعِيِّ فِيمَا كَتَبَ إِلَيَّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَوْ عمه سفيان ابن عُيَيْنَةَ قَوْلُهُ: إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْمُفْسِدِينَ لا يُقَرِّبُ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: الْمُفْسِدِينَ
١٧١٢٢ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ مَوْلَى بَنِي هَاشِمٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو زُنَيْجٌ، ثنا سَلَمَةُ، عَنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، أَوْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْفَسَادَ أَيْ لَا يُحِبُّ عَمَلَهُ وَلا يَرْضَاهُ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: قَالَ إِنَّمَا أُوتِيتُهُ عَلَى عِلْمٍ عِنْدِي
١٧١٢٣ - حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ مَالِكٍ السُّوسِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَطَاءٍ الْخَفَّافَ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَوْلُهُ: إِنَّمَا أُوتِيتُهُ عَلَى عِلْمٍ عِنْدِي يَقُولُ: عَلَى خَيْرٍ عِنْدِي وَعِلْمٍ عِنْدِي.
١٧١٢٤ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَزِيدَ الْقَرَاطِيسِيُّ فِيمَا كَتَبَ إِلَيَّ أَنْبَأَ أَصْبَغُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ، ثنا عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ: إِنَّمَا أُوتِيتُهُ عَلَى عِلْمٍ عِنْدِي قَالَ: لَوْلا رِضَا اللَّهِ عَنِّي وَمَعْرِفَتِهِ بِفَضْلِي مَا أَعْطَانِي هَذَا وَقَرَأَ: أَوَلَمْ يَعْلَمْ أَنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ أَهْلَكَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِ مِنَ الْقُرُونِ مَنْ هُوَ أَشَدُّ مِنْهُ قُوَّةً وَأَكْثَرُ جَمْعًا ولا يسئل عَنْ ذُنُوبِهِمُ الْمُجْرِمُونَ
١٧١٢٥ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، ثنا عَامِرُ بْنُ الْفُرَاتِ، ثنا أَسْبَاطٌ، عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ قَالَ: إِنَّمَا أُوتِيتُهُ عَلَى عِلْمٍ عِنْدِي عَلِمَ اللَّهُ أَنِّي أَهْلٌ لِذَلِكَ.
