17134 - 'Abd Allah ibn Sulayman ibn al-Ash'ath narrated to us, al-Husayn ibn 'Ali ibn Mihran narrated to us, 'Amir ibn al-Furat narrated to us, Asbat narrated to us, from al-Suddi: "So he went out before his people in his adornment." His adornment was that he went out upon white mules, with saddles of gold upon purple trappings, and they were upon white mules wearing red garments and gold ornaments.

17135 - My father narrated to us, Nasr ibn 'Ali narrated to us, Nuh ibn Qays narrated to us, from his brother Khalid ibn Qays, from Qatadah: "So he went out before his people in his adornment," he said: Upon one thousand grey mules with purple saddle-cloths upon them.

17136 - My father narrated to us, Hisham ibn Khalid narrated to us, from al-Hasan ibn Yahya, from Ibn Jabir, from 'Ata' al-Khurasani regarding the saying of Allah: "So he went out before his people in his adornment," he said: He went out before them with four thousand [riders] on grey mules in embroidered saddles.

17137 - My father narrated to us, Salih ibn 'Abd Allah al-Hashimi narrated to us, al-Walid narrated to us, Ibn Hudayr narrated to us, al-'Abbas ibn al-Walid al-Narsi narrated to us, Yazid ibn Zuray', Sa'id narrated to us, from Qatadah regarding His saying: "So he went out before his people in his adornment," he said: It was mentioned to us that they went out upon four thousand mounts, with purple [cloths] upon them and upon their mounts.

17138 - Abu Yazid al-Qaratisi reported to us in what he wrote to me, Asbagh ibn al-Faraj informed us, 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Zayd ibn Aslam narrated to us regarding the saying of Allah: "So he went out before his people in his adornment," he said: He went out among seventy thousand [people] wearing saffron-dyed garments, and that was the first day upon the earth that saffron-dyed garments were seen, as my father used to mention that to us.

17139 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashaj narrated to us, Abu Khalid narrated to us, from Juwaybir, from al-Dahhak: "So he went out before his people in his adornment," he said: [In] his finery.

17140 - Musa ibn Harun al-Tusi reported to us in what he wrote to me, al-Hasan ibn Muhammad al-Marwazi narrated to us, Shayban ibn 'Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, from Qatadah regarding His saying: "So he went out before his people in his adornment," he said: With his retinue.

17141 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashaj narrated to us, Abu Khalid narrated to us, from Ibn Jurayj: "So he went out before his people in his adornment," he said: He went out upon a grey mule with purple [trappings] upon it, and with him were three hundred slave girls upon grey mules, wearing red garments.
