Translation · EN

their land will vomit them out, the spirit of Allah will loathe them, and the Fire will gather them along with the monkeys and the swine. It will spend the night with them when they spend the night, take a midday nap with them when they take a nap, and eat whatever falls from them.

17250 - ‘Ali ibn al-Husayn narrated to us, al-Walid ibn ‘Uqbah reported to us, al-Walid ibn Muslim reported to us, ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Hassan al-Kinani reported to us, he said: Lot, who was the son of Abraham’s brother, emigrated with his wife to Abraham in al-Sham. Some things occurred between his wife and Sarah of the sort that happen between women. Abraham said to him: "O son of my brother, things have transpired between these two, and I fear that this might cause something in my heart against you, so move away." So they both moved. He said: So he settled in the cities of the people of Lot.

17251 - ‘Ali ibn al-Husayn narrated to us, Muhammad ibn ‘Isa reported to us, Salamah reported to us, from Ibn Ishaq, he said: Then Abraham, peace be upon him, went out, emigrating to his Lord, and Lot went out with him. They emigrated, and he had married Sarah, the daughter of his paternal uncle, and went out with her, seeking to flee for the sake of his religion and security for his Lord, until he descended in Jiran. He stayed there as long as Allah willed him to stay, then he went out from there, emigrating until he arrived in Egypt, where Pharaoh was—one of the first pharaohs. Sarah was among the most beautiful people, it is said, and she would never disobey Abraham in anything, and because of that, Allah honored her.

His saying, the Exalted: "Indeed, He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise."

17252 - ‘Isam ibn Rawwad narrated to us, Adam ibn Abi Iyas al-‘Asqalani reported to us, Abu Ja‘far al-Razi reported to us, al-Rabi‘ ibn Anas narrated to me, from Abu al-‘Aliyah, regarding His saying: "The Exalted in Might," he says: The Exalted in His vengeance when He takes vengeance, "the Wise" in His command. It was narrated from Qatadah and al-Rabi‘ ibn Anas similarly.

17253 - Muhammad ibn Yahya narrated to us, Abu Ghassan reported to us, Salamah reported to us, Muhammad ibn Ishaq said regarding His saying: "The Exalted in Might" in His granting victory to those who disbelieved in Him if He wills, "the Wise" in His excuse and His proof to His servants.

His saying, the Exalted: "And We gave him Isaac and Jacob."

17254 - Hajjaj ibn Hamzah narrated to us, Shababah reported to us, Warqa’ reported to us, from Ibn Abi Najih, from Mujahid, regarding His saying: "And We gave him Isaac and Jacob," he said: We bestowed.
