17520 - From Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man from the Khawarij called out to him while he was in the Fajr prayer, saying: "And it has already been revealed to you and to those before you that if you should associate [anything] with Allah, your work would surely become worthless, and you would surely be among the losers." Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) answered him while he was in the prayer: "So be patient; indeed, the promise of Allah is truth. And let not those who have no certainty belittle you." (1)

١٧٥٢٠ - عن علي رضي الله عنه أن رجلًا من الخوارج ناداه وهو في صلاة الفجر فقال: وَلَقَدْ أُوحِيَ إِلَيْكَ وَإِلَى الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ لَئِنْ أَشْرَكْتَ لَيَحْبَطَنَّ عَمَلُكَ وَلَتَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الخاسرين فأجابه علي رضي الله عنه وهو في الصلاة فَاصْبِرْ إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ وَلا يستخفنك الذين لا يوقنون «١» .
