[His saying, the Exalted: "And accompany them in this world with kindness"]
17543 - From Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding His saying: "And accompany them in this world with kindness," he said: Treat them kindly if they fall ill, attend to them when they die, and console them with what Allah has given you. "And follow the way of those who turn back to Me."
His saying, the Exalted: "Indeed, if it should be the weight of a mustard seed"
17544 - From Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding His saying: "Indeed, if it should be the weight of a mustard seed," he said: Of good or evil. "And it be within a rock," he said: In a mountain.
His saying, the Exalted: "Indeed, Allah is Subtle"
17545 - From Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding His saying: "Indeed, Allah is Subtle," he said: In bringing it forth, he said: In its place of settlement.
His saying, the Exalted: "And do not turn your cheek away from people"
17546 - From Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) regarding His saying: "And do not turn your cheek away from people," he says: Do not be arrogant, looking down upon the servants of Allah and turning your face away from them when they speak to you.
17547 - From Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) regarding His saying: "And do not turn your cheek away from people," he said: It is the one who, when greeted, turns his neck away like an arrogant person. (1)
17547 - From Sa’id ibn Jubayr (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding His saying: "And do not turn your cheek away from people," he says: Do not turn your face away from the poor among the people out of arrogance. (2)
