[His saying, the Almighty: 'For her the punishment will be doubled twice']
17659 - From Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding His saying: 'For her the punishment will be doubled twice'—he said: The punishment of the worldly life and the punishment of the Hereafter (1).
17660 - From Sa'id ibn Jubayr (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding His saying: 'For her the punishment will be doubled twice'—he said: He makes their punishment twice over, and He makes the prescribed punishment (hadd) for whoever slanders them twice over (2).
17661 - From al-Rabi' ibn Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding His saying: 'O wives of the Prophet'—he said: The proof/obligation (al-hujjah) upon the prophets is more severe than upon their followers regarding sin, and the proof/obligation upon the scholars is more severe than upon others. Indeed, the proof/obligation upon the wives of the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) is more severe than upon others. Thus, He said: Whoever among you commits disobedience, the punishment upon her shall be doubled compared to the rest of the wives of the believers, and whoever does righteous deeds, the reward for her shall be doubled compared to the rest of the wives of the Muslims (3).
17662 - My father narrated to us, [who said] Surayj ibn Yunus Abu al-Harith narrated to us, [who said] Muhammad ibn Yazid narrated to me, from al-'Awwam—meaning Ibn Hawshab—from an uncle of his, who said: I entered with my father upon Aisha, and he asked her about Ali (may Allah be pleased with him). She said (may Allah be pleased with her): 'Are you asking me about a man who was among the people most beloved to the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), and his daughter was his wife, and he was the person most beloved to him? I truly saw the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) call Ali, Fatimah, Hasan, and Husayn, and cast a garment over them, then say: "O Allah, these are my Household (Ahl al-Bayt), so remove impurity from them and purify them with a thorough purification."' She said: 'So I drew near to him and said: "O Messenger of Allah, am I among your Household?" He replied: "Move aside, for you are upon goodness."' (4).
His saying, the Almighty: 'And whoever among you obeys Allah and His Messenger and does righteous deeds'
17663 - From Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) regarding His saying: 'And whoever among you obeys Allah and His Messenger and does righteous deeds'—he said: He means, whoever among you obeys Allah and does righteous deeds for Allah and His Messenger by way of obeying Him (5).

[قوله تعالى: يضاعف لها العذاب ضعفين]
١٧٦٥٩ - عَنْ قَتَادَة رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ فِي قَوْلِهِ: يضاعف لها العذاب ضعفين قال: عذاب الدنيا وعذاب الآخرة «١» .
١٧٦٦٠ - عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ في قوله: يضاعف لها العذاب ضعفين قال: يجعل عذابهن ضعفين، ويجعل على من قذفهن الحد ضعفين «٢» .
١٧٦٦١ - عَنِ الرَّبِيعِ بن أنس رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ في قوله: يَا نِسَاءَ النبي قال: إن الحجة على الأنبياء أشد منها على الأتباع في الخطيئة، وإن الحجة على العلماء أشد منها على غيرهم، فإن الحجة على نساء النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أشد منها على غيرهن، فقال: إنه من عصى منكن فإنه يكون عليها العذاب الضعف منه على سائر نساء المؤمنين، ومن عمل صالحا فإن الأجر لها الضعف على سائر نساء المسلمين «٣» .
١٧٦٦٢ - حدثنا أبي ثنا سريج بن يونس أبو الحارث حدثني محمد بن يزيد عن العوام يعني ابن حوشب عن عم له قال: دخلت مع أبى على عائشة، فسألتها عن علي رضي الله عنه، فقالت رضي الله عنها: تسألني عن رجل كان من أحب الناس إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وكانت تحته ابنته وأحب الناس إليه؟ لقد رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دعا عليًا وفاطمة وحسنا وحسينًا فألقى عليهم ثوبًا فقال: «اللهم، هؤلاء أهل بيتي فأذهب عنه الرجس وطهرهم تطهيرًا» قالت: فدنوت منه فقلت: يا رسول الله، وأنا من أهل بيتك؟ فقال: تنحي، فإنك علي خير «٤» .
قوله تعالى: وَمَنْ يَقْنُتْ مِنْكُنَّ لِلَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَتَعْمَلْ صَالِحًا
١٧٦٦٣ - عن ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما في قوله: وَمَنْ يَقْنُتْ مِنْكُنَّ لِلَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَتَعْمَلْ صالحا قال: يقول من يطع الله منكن، وتعمل صالحًا لله ورسوله بطاعته «٥» .
