[His saying, the Almighty: 'And they give Zakat']
[The first aspect]
16099 - My father narrated to us, Abu Salih narrated to us, Mu'awiyah ibn Salih narrated to me, from 'Ali ibn Abi Talhah, from Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: 'And they give Zakat', he said: He means by Zakat, obedience to Allah and sincerity.
The second aspect:
16100 - 'Ali ibn al-Husayn narrated to us, Abu Bakr and 'Uthman narrated to us, Abu Shaybah informed us, both said: Waki' narrated to us, from Abu Janab, from 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: 'And they give Zakat', he said: That which necessitates Zakat, two hundred and above.
The third aspect:
16101 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, 'Uthman ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to us, Jarir narrated to us, from Abu Hayyan al-Taymi, from al-Harith al-'Ukli, meaning His saying: 'And they give Zakat', he said: Sadaqat al-Fitr (charity of breaking the fast).
The fourth aspect:
16102 - I read to Muhammad ibn al-Fadl, Muhammad ibn 'Ali narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Muzahim narrated to us, Bukayr ibn Ma'ruf narrated to us, from Muqatil ibn Hayyan regarding His saying: 'And they give Zakat', He commanded them to give Zakat and pay it to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.
His saying, the Almighty: 'And of the Hereafter, they are certain.'
16103 - Muhammad ibn Yahya narrated to us, Abu Ghassan Muhammad ibn 'Amr informed us, Salamah narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Ishaq who said: In what Muhammad ibn Abi Muhammad narrated to me, from 'Ikrimah or Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn 'Abbas: 'And of the Hereafter, they are certain', regarding the Unseen, the Resurrection, Paradise, the Fire, the Reckoning, and the Balance. That is, these are not those who claim they believe in what was before you while they disbelieve in what came to you from your Lord.
16104 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, 'Amr ibn Hammad narrated to us, Asbat narrated to us, from al-Suddi: 'And of the Hereafter, they are certain', these are the believers among the People of the Scripture.

١٦٠٩٩ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا أَبُو صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَوْلُهُ: وَيُؤْتُونَ الزَّكَاةَ قَالَ: يَعْنِي بِالزَّكَاةِ طَاعَةَ اللَّهِ وَالإِخْلاصَ.
الْوَجْهُ الثَّانِي:
١٦١٠٠ - حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُثْمَانُ، أنبأ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالا، ثنا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ أَبِي جَنَابٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ: وَيُؤْتُونَ الزَّكَاةَ قَالَ:
مَا يُوجِبُ الزَّكَاةَ، مائتين فَصَاعِدًا.
الْوَجْهُ الثَّالِثُ:
١٦١٠١ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ، ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ أَبِي حَيَّانَ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ الْعُكْلِيِّ يَعْنِي قَوْلَهُ: وَيُؤْتُونَ الزَّكَاةَ قَالَ: صَدَقَةَ الْفِطْرِ.
الْوَجْهُ الرَّابِعُ:
١٦١٠٢ - قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُزَاحِمٍ، ثنا بُكَيْرُ بْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ، عَنْ مُقَاتِلِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ قَوْلُهُ: وَيُؤْتُونَ الزَّكَاةَ أَمَرَهُمْ أَنْ يُؤْتُوا الزكاة، ويدفعونها إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَهُمْ بِالآخِرَةِ هُمْ يُوقِنُونَ
١٦١٠٣ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو غَسَّانَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، ثنا سَلَمَةُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ: فِيمَا، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ أَوْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وَهُمْ بِالآخِرَةِ هُمْ يُوقِنُونَ بِالْغَيْبِ وَالْقِيَامَةِ وَالْجَنَّةِ وَالنَّارِ وَالْحِسَابِ وَالْمِيزَانِ. أَيْ لَيْسَ هَؤُلاءِ الَّذِينَ يَزْعُمُونَ أَنَّهُمْ آمَنُوا بِمَا كَانَ قَبْلَكَ وَيَكْفُرُونَ بِمَا جَاءَكَ مِنْ رَبِّكَ.
١٦١٠٤ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ، ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ حَمَّادٍ، ثنا أَسْبَاطٌ، عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ وَهُمْ بِالآخِرَةِ هُمْ يُوقِنُونَ هَؤُلاءِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ.
