Allah (Mighty and Majestic is He) returned with His bounty and His mercy, and said: "yet afterward he changes evil for good," meaning: he performs a righteous deed after an evil deed, for I am Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

His saying (Exalted is He): "for I am Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."

16153 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Yahya ibn 'Abd Allah narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to me, 'Ata' narrated to me, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr regarding His saying: "Oft-Forgiving" for what was from him before repentance, "Most Merciful" for whomsoever repents.

His saying (Exalted is He): "And put your hand into your bosom"

16154 - My father narrated to us, 'Abdah ibn Sulayman ibn al-Mubarak narrated to us, Sharik narrated to us, Yazid ibn Abi Ziyad narrated to us, from Miqsam, from Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: "And put your hand into your bosom, it will come forth white without evil," he said: "Moses was wearing a wool cloak that did not reach his elbows, so He said to him: 'Put your hand into your bosom,' so he put it in."

16155 - Al-Husayn ibn al-Hasan narrated to us, Ibrahim ibn 'Abd Allah al-Harawi narrated to us, Hajjaj informed us, from Ibn Jurayj: "your hand," meaning: the palm.

His saying (Exalted is He): "into your bosom"

16156 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, 'Amr ibn Hammad narrated to us, Asbat narrated to us, from al-Suddi regarding "into your bosom," he said: "The bosom is the bosom of the shirt."

16157 - Al-Husayn ibn al-Hasan narrated to us, Ibrahim ibn 'Abd Allah al-Harawi narrated to us, Hajjaj informed us, from Ibn Jurayj, from Mujahid: "into your bosom," he had a tunic on, reaching part of his arm, and if it had a sleeve, He would have commanded him to put his hand into his sleeve.

His saying: "it will come forth white"

16158 - My father narrated to us, 'Abdah ibn Sulayman narrated to us, Ibn al-Mubarak narrated to us, Sharik narrated to us, Yazid ibn Abi Ziyad informed us, from Miqsam, from Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: "it will come forth white," he said: "So he put it in, then brought it out white without evil, as if it were fur."

16159 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashajj narrated to us, from 'Abd Allah ibn al-Aswad al-Harithi, from Qurrah ibn Khalid, from al-Hasan regarding "white without evil," he said: "He brought it out, by Allah, as if it were lanterns, so Moses knew, by Allah, that he had met his Lord (Mighty and Majestic is He)."
