16249 - Abu 'Abd Allah al-Tihrani informed us in what he wrote to me, 'Abd al-Razzaq informed us, Ma'mar informed us, from Qatadah regarding His saying: "Indeed, I found a woman ruling over them," he said: It reached me that she is a woman called Bilqis—I think he said—daughter of Sharahil. One of her parents was from the jinn, and the back of one of her feet was like the hoof of an animal, and she was in a royal house.

16250 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Safwan ibn Salih narrated to us, al-Walid narrated to us, Zuhayr ibn Muhammad narrated to us, who said: While he was standing on the back of the wind saying that, the hoopoe (hoopoe) approached saying: "And I have come to you from Sheba with certain news. Indeed, I found a woman ruling over them." Zuhayr said: She is Bilqis, daughter of Sharahil ibn Malik ibn al-Rayyan, and her mother was Fari'ah the jinn.
