16252 - 'Ali ibn al-Hasan al-Hisinjani narrated to us, Musaddad narrated to us, Sufyan ibn 'Uyaynah narrated to us, from 'Ata' ibn al-Sa'ib, from Mujahid, that Ibn 'Abbas said: "The companion of Solomon had one thousand Qayl (chieftains), and under every Qayl there were one hundred thousand."
16253 - Ahmad ibn Sinan narrated to us, Ibn Numayr narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Mujahid, who said: There were under the hand of the Queen of Sheba twelve thousand Qayl, and under every Qayl one hundred thousand fighters.
16254 - Abu 'Abd Allah al-Tihrani informed us in what he wrote to me, 'Abd al-Razzaq informed us, Ma'mar informed us, from Qatadah regarding His saying: "Indeed, I found a woman ruling over them," he said: She was in a royal house, and those who consulted with her were three hundred and twelve men, each man of them being over ten thousand men. She was in a land called Ma'rib, three days' distance from San'a'.
16255 - My father narrated to us, 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn Munib narrated to us, Abu Mu'adh al-Fadl ibn Khalid narrated to us, from 'Ubayd ibn Sulayman, from al-Dahhak regarding His saying: "Indeed, I found a woman ruling over them"—the verse—so Solomon denied that anyone on earth should have authority besides him.
His saying, the Almighty: "And she has been given from everything"
16256 - 'Abd Allah ibn Sulayman ibn al-Ash'ath narrated to us, al-Husayn ibn 'Ali narrated to us, 'Amir ibn al-Furat narrated to us, Asbat narrated to us, from al-Suddi regarding: "And she has been given from everything," he said: From everything in her land.
16257 - 'Ali ibn al-Husayn narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Abi Hammad narrated to us, Mihran narrated to us, from Sufyan regarding: "And she has been given from everything," he said: From the varieties of the world.
His saying, the Almighty: "And she has a great throne"
16258 - Ahmad ibn Yahya ibn Malik al-Susi narrated to us, 'Abd al-Wahhab ibn 'Ata' narrated to us, from Sa'id, from Qatadah regarding: "And she has a great throne," he said: Her throne is her seat (couch/bed). It has been narrated from 'Ata' al-Khurasani and al-Suddi similarly.

١٦٢٥٢ - حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْهِسِنْجَانِيُّ، ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنِ مُجَاهِدٍ أَنَّ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: لِصَاحِبَةِ سُلَيْمَانَ أَلْفُ قَيْلٍ تَحْتَ كُلِّ قَيْلٍ مِائَةُ أَلْفٍ «١» .
١٦٢٥٣ - حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ، ثنا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، قَالَ:
كان تحت يدي ملكة سبأ اثنا عشر ألف قيل، تحت كل قيل مائة ألف مُقَاتِلٍ.
١٦٢٥٤ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الطِّهْرَانِيُّ فِيمَا كَتَبَ إِلَيَّ، أَنْبَأَ عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَنْبَأَ مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ فِي قَوْلِهِ: إِنِّي وَجَدْتُ امْرَأَةً تَمْلِكُهُمْ قَالَ: كَانَتْ فِي بَيْتِ مَمْلَكَةٍ، وَكَانَ أُولُوا مَشُورَتِهَا ثَلَاثَمِائَةٍ وَاثْنَيْ عَشَرَ رَجُلًا كُلُّ رَجُلٍ مِنْهُمْ عَلَى عَشْرَةِ آلافٍ مِنَ الرِّجَالِ، وَكَانَتْ بِأَرْضٍ يُقَالُ لَهَا مَأْرِبٌ عَلَى ثَلاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ صَنْعَاءَ.
١٦٢٥٥ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُنِيبٍ، ثنا أَبُو مُعَاذٍ الْفَضْلَ بْنَ خَالِدٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ، قَوْلُهُ: إِنِّي وَجَدْتُ امْرَأَةً تَمْلِكُهُمْ الْآيَةَ فَأَنْكَرَ سُلَيْمَانُ أَنْ يَكُونَ لأَحَدٍ عَلَى الأَرْضِ سُلْطَانٌ غَيْرِهِ.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَأُوتِيَتْ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ
١٦٢٥٦ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ الأَشْعَثَ، ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، ثنا عَامِرُ بْنُ الْفُرَاتِ، ثنا أَسْبَاطٌ، عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ وَأُوتِيَتْ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَالَ: مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ فِي أَرْضِهَا.
١٦٢٥٧ - حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَمَّادٍ، ثنا مِهْرَانُ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ وَأُوتِيَتْ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَالَ: مِنْ أَنْوَاعِ الدُّنْيَا.
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: وَلَهَا عَرْشٌ عَظِيمٌ
١٦٢٥٨ - حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ مَالِكٍ السُّوسِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ وَلَهَا عَرْشٌ عَظِيمٌ قَالَ: عَرْشُهَا سَرِيرُهَا- وَرُوِيَ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ الْخُرَاسَانِيِّ وَالسُّدِّيِّ مِثْلُ ذَلِكَ.
