I heard 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Zayd ibn Aslam regarding the saying of Allah: "Who brings forth the hidden in the heavens and the earth," he said: The hidden of the heavens and the earth is what has been placed in them of provisions, rain from the heaven, and vegetation from the earth.

His saying, the Almighty: "And He knows what you conceal and what you declare."

16274 - Muhammad ibn Sa'd informed me in what he wrote to me, my father narrated to me, my uncle narrated to me, my father narrated to me, from his father, from Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: "And He knows what you conceal and what you declare," he says: He knows what they did by night and by day.

16275 - My father narrated to us, Hawdhah narrated to us, 'Awf narrated to us, from al-Hasan regarding "He knows what you conceal and what you declare," he said: In the darkness of the night and in the interiors of their houses.

His saying, the Almighty: "Allah"

16276 - Al-Hasan ibn Muhammad ibn al-Sabbah narrated to us, Isma'il ibn 'Ulayyah narrated to us, from Abu Raja', a man narrated to me, from Jabir ibn Zayd that he said: The Greatest Name of Allah is "Allah." Have you not heard that He says: "He is Allah, besides whom there is no deity, Knower of the unseen and the witnessed. He is the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful" (1).

His saying, the Almighty: "Allah, there is no deity but Him"

16277 - It was read to Yunus ibn 'Abd al-A'la, Ibn Wahb informed us, and 'Umar ibn Muhammad also narrated to me, from Suhayl ibn Abi Salih, from his father, al-Saluli informed me, from Ka'b he said: "There is no deity but Allah" is the word of sincerity (al-ikhlas).

16278 - Muhammad ibn Yahya narrated to us, Abu Ghassan informed us, Salamah narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Ishaq said: "Allah, there is no deity but Him," meaning there is none with Him as a partner in His command.

His saying, the Almighty: "Lord of the Great Throne"

16279 - The interpretation of the Throne has preceded in more than one place, and Allah knows best.
