16296 - 'Abd Allah ibn Sulayman narrated to us, al-Husayn ibn 'Ali narrated to us, 'Amir narrated to us, Asbat narrated to us, from al-Suddi regarding "Indeed, there has been delivered to me a noble letter": The hoopoe set off and ascended until it was hidden in the sky above her, then it released the letter, and it fell into her lap. When she saw it, she thought it was from Allah and she indicated, before she had even read it, saying: "Indeed, there has been delivered to me a noble letter."
16297 - My father mentioned, al-Qasim ibn Muhammad ibn al-Harith al-Marwazi narrated to us, 'Abdan narrated to us, from Abu Hamzah, from 'Ata' ibn al-Sa'ib, from Mujahid, from Ibn 'Abbas regarding "O, you assembly (of chiefs), indeed, there has been delivered to me a noble letter": He said: When he delivered the letter to her, it occurred to her that it was a noble letter and she was apprehensive of it, so she said to her assembly: "O, you assembly, indeed, there has been delivered to me a noble letter."

16298 - My father narrated to us, al-Himmani narrated to us, 'Amr ibn Muhammad ibn al-'Anqazi narrated to us, from Asbat, from al-Suddi regarding His saying: "Indeed, there has been delivered to me a noble letter": He said: Sealed.
16299 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Safwan narrated to us, al-Walid narrated to us, Zuhayr ibn Muhammad regarding the saying of Allah: "Indeed, there has been delivered to me a noble letter," she was apprehensive of it, meaning sealed. And such are the kings, they seal their letters; they do not allow a letter among them except with a seal.
The second interpretation:
16300 - Musa ibn Harun al-Tusi reported to us in what he wrote to me, al-Husayn ibn Muhammad al-Marwazi narrated to us, Shayban narrated to us, from Qatadah regarding His saying: "Indeed, there has been delivered to me a noble letter": He said: He means good is that which is within it.
His saying, the Almighty: "Indeed, it is from Sulayman"
16301 - 'Abd Allah ibn Sulayman ibn al-Ash'ath narrated to us, al-Husayn ibn 'Ali ibn Mihran narrated to us, 'Amir narrated to us, Asbat narrated to us, from al-Suddi: "Indeed, there has been delivered to me a noble letter. Indeed, it is from Sulayman"; when she opened it, she found it was from Sulayman, and she said: It is from the side of Sulayman, and in it is: "In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful."
16302 - Muhammad ibn al-'Abbas, the freed slave of Banu Hashim, narrated to us, 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Salamah narrated to us, Salamah narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Ishaq, from Yazid ibn Ruman: "Indeed, it is from Sulayman, and indeed, it is 'In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.'"
١٦٢٩٦ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، ثنا عَامِرٌ، ثنا أَسْبَاطٌ، عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ إِنِّي أُلْقِيَ إِلَيَّ كِتَابٌ كَرِيمٌ فَانْطَلَقَ الْهُدْهُدُ، فَارْتَفَعَ حَتَّى تَغَيَّبَ فِي السَّمَاءِ حَذَاهَا، ثُمَّ أَرْسَلَ الْكِتَابَ فَوَقَعَ فِي حِجْرِهَا، فَلَمَّا رَأَتْهُ ظَنَّتْ أَنَّهُ مِنْ عِنْدِ اللَّهِ وَدَلَّتْ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَقْرَأَهُ فَقَالَتْ: إِنِّي أُلْقِيَ إِلَيَّ كِتَابٌ كَرِيمٌ
١٦٢٩٧ - ذَكَرَ أَبِي، ثنا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنِ ابن عباس يَا أَيُّهَا الْمَلأُ إِنِّي أُلْقِيَ إِلَيَّ كِتَابٌ كَرِيمٌ قَالَ: فَلَمَّا أَلْقَى الْكِتَابَ إِلَيْهَا سَقَطَ فِي خَلَدِهَا أَنَّهُ كِتَابٌ كَرِيمٌ أَشْفَقَتْ مِنْهُ فقالت لملأها يَا أَيُّهَا الْمَلأُ إِنِّي أُلْقِيَ إِلَيَّ كِتَابٌ كريم

١٦٢٩٩ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ، ثنا صَفْوَانُ، ثنا الْوَلِيدُ، ثنا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ: إِنِّي أُلْقِيَ إِلَيَّ كِتَابٌ كَرِيمٌ أشفقت منه تريد مختوم، وَكَذَلِكَ الْمُلُوكُ تَخْتِمُ كُتُبَهَا لَا تُجِيزُ بَيْنَهَا كِتَابًا إِلا بِخَاتَمٍ.
