It was narrated from al-Rabi' ibn Anas similar to the statement of Qatadah.

His saying, the Exalted: "You have no decision in the matter"

[The First Interpretation]

4124 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashajj narrated to us, Abu Bakr ibn 'Ayyash narrated to us, who said: I heard Humayd al-Tawil, from Anas ibn Malik, who said: On the day of Uhud, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was wounded and his incisor tooth was broken. He began wiping the blood from his face and saying: "How can a people prosper who have stained the face of their Prophet with blood while he calls them to their Lord?" Then Jibril descended to him and said: "You have no decision in the matter, or He will forgive them or punish them, for they are indeed wrongdoers."

And the Second Interpretation:

4125 - Ahmad ibn Mansur al-Ramadi narrated to us, 'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, from Ma'mar, from al-Zuhri, from Salim ibn 'Abd Allah, from his father, that he heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) saying in the dawn prayer when he raised his head from the final rak'ah, he said: "Our Lord, to You be the praise." In the final rak'ah, he said: "O Allah, curse so-and-so and so-and-so." Then he said: "You have no decision in the matter, or He will forgive them or punish them, for they are indeed wrongdoers."
