353: 1854: Abu al-Miqdam: 1: Imam Ahmad and the authors of the Sunan recorded with a sound chain of narration (isnad sahih) from al-Thawri, from Bukayr, from 'Ata', from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Mu'ammar al-Daylami, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, saying: "The Hajj is Arafat" – [he said this] three times – "Whoever reaches Arafat before the break of dawn has indeed reached it. And the days of Mina are three; so whoever hastens in two days, there is no sin upon him, and whoever remains, there is no sin upon him."
Sahih (Authentic). Recorded by al-Tirmidhi (no. 2975), who said: This is a hasan sahih hadith. Also by al-Darimi (2/59), al-Manthur (1/236), Ibn Hibban (1009), al-Tamhid (2/97, 9/277), Ibn Sa'd (2/1/129), Ibn Kathir (1/350), and al-Qurtubi (2/426, 3/2).

: 1864: 'Aqilni (Absolve me): 3: For this reason, it is established in the Sahih: "That the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to ask Allah for forgiveness three times when he finished the prayer."
And in the Sahihayn (the two authentic books): "That he recommended saying Tasbih, Tahmid, and Takbir thirty-three times." And al-Bukhari recorded from Shaddad ibn Aws that he said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "The master of seeking forgiveness is for the servant to say: 'O Allah, You are my Lord, there is no god but You. You created me, and I am Your servant, and I am upon Your covenant and promise as much as I am able. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done; I acknowledge before You Your favor upon me, and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me, for none can forgive sins except You.'"
