Then enter it, otherwise do not enter. Said ibn Jubayr said: Entering the bathhouse without an izar is forbidden (haram).
Section: As for women, they are not permitted to enter it—even with the modesty we have mentioned—except for an excuse, such as menstruation, postpartum bleeding, illness, or a need for ghusl (ritual bathing) where it is impossible for her to bathe in her own house due to the difficulty of doing so, or because she fears illness or harm. In such a case, it is permissible for her, provided she lowers her gaze and covers her private parts. As for [entering] without an excuse, it is not permitted, based on what was narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "The land of the Persians will be opened for you, and you will find bathhouses therein; so prevent your women [from entering them], except for a menstruating woman or one in postpartum bleeding (36)." It is also narrated that women from the people of Hims entered upon Aisha, and she said: "Perhaps you are of the women who enter the bathhouses? I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: 'Any woman who takes off her clothes in other than her husband's house has torn the veil between her and Allah the Almighty (37).""
Section: Whoever performs ghusl while naked among people, that is not permissible for him, because uncovering them (the private parts) to people is forbidden, for the reasons we have mentioned. If he is in seclusion, it is permissible, because Moses, peace be upon him, bathed while naked (38).
