about the Maghrib. He said: And he used to like to delay the ʿishāʾ, which you call the ʿatama, and he used to dislike sleeping before it and talking after it. And he would finish the morning prayer when a man could recognize his companion, and he would recite between sixty and one hundred verses. Jābir said: The Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, used to pray the Ẓuhr in the midday heat, the ʿAṣr while the sun was pure, the Maghrib when it set, and the ʿishāʾ sometimes, and sometimes when he saw them gathered he would hasten, and when he saw them slow he would delay. And the Ṣubḥ, the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, used to pray it in the darkness of the end of the night. Agreed upon.
