prayed, he said: This is the 'salb' (posture of crucifixion) in prayer, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to forbid it. [Narrated by Abu Dawud] (65). It is disliked to pray while one's hair is gathered or one's clothes are tucked up; because Muslim (66) narrated from Ibn Abbas that he saw Abdullah ibn al-Harith praying with his hair gathered from behind, so he stood and began to undo it. When he finished, he turned to Ibn Abbas and said: What is the matter with you and my head? He replied: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: "The likeness of this is like the likeness of one who prays while he is bound." It is disliked to tuck up one's hair or clothing; due to the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "I have been commanded to prostrate upon seven bones, and not to tuck up hair or clothing." Agreed upon (67). It is disliked to interlace fingers (tashbik) (68) in prayer; because Ibn Majah (69) narrated from Ka'b ibn Ujrah that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saw
