Muslim: "You are the Lord of the heavens and the earth." And in it: "You are my God, there is no god but You." And from 'Aishah, she said: When the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) would stand at night, he would commence his prayer: "O Allah, Lord of Gabriel, Michael, and Israfil, Creator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, You judge between Your servants regarding that over which they differ. Guide me to what has been differed upon of the truth by Your permission, for You guide whom You will to a straight path." Extracted by Muslim (95). And from her, she said: He—meaning the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace)—would, when he stood, say the takbir ten times, praise Allah ten times, glorify Allah ten times, declare the oneness of Allah ten times, and seek forgiveness ten times, and he would say: "O Allah, forgive me, guide me, provide for me, and grant me well-being," and he would seek refuge from the distress of the place on the Day of Resurrection. مُسْلِم: "أنتَ رَبُّ السَّموَاتِ والأرْضِ". وفيه: "أنْتَ إلهِى لَا إلهَ إلَّا أنْتَ". وعن عائشةَ قالت: كان رسولُ اللهِ -صلى اللَّه عليه وسلم- إذا قَامَ من اللَّيْلِ افْتَتَحَ صَلَاتَه: اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ جِبْرِيلَ ومِيكَائِيلَ وإسْرَافِيلَ، فاطِرَ السَّموَاتِ والأرْض، عالمَ الغَيْبِ والشَّهَادَةِ، أنتَ تَحْكُمُ بين عَبِادِك فِيمَا كَانُوا فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ، اهْدِنِي لِمَا اخْتُلِفَ فِيهِ مِنَ الحَقِّ بإِذْنِكَ، إنَّكَ تَهْدِى مَنْ تَشَاءُ إلى صِرَاطٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ". أخْرَجَه مُسْلِمٌ (٩٥). وعنها، قالت: كان - تَعْنِى رسولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عليه وسَلَّمَ - إذا قَامَ كَبَّرَ عَشْرا، وحَمَدَ عَشْرا، وسَبَّحَ عَشْرا، وهَلَّلَ عَشْرا، واسْتَغْفَرَ عَشْرا، وقال: "اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي، وَاهْدِنِي، وَارْزُقْنِي، وعَافِنِي" ويَتَعَوَّذُ من ضِيقِ المُقَامِ يَوْمَ القِيَامَةِ. رَوَاه أبو دَاوُدَ (٩٦).
