Resurrection." Abu Sa'id said: "I heard it (12) from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)" (13). From Anas, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to conduct raids at dawn. If he heard the Adhan, he would hold back, otherwise he would raid. He heard a man saying, "Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "[He is] upon the natural disposition (Fitrah)." He then said: "I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, I bear witness that there is no god but Allah." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "You have emerged from the Fire." They looked and found that he was a goat owner. Reported by Muslim (14).
Section: For whoever misses prayers, it is recommended that he perform the Adhan for the first one, then perform an Iqamah for every prayer. If he does not perform the Adhan, there is no harm. Al-Athram said: I heard Abu Abd Allah being asked about a man who is making up for missed prayers (15), what should he do regarding the Adhan? He mentioned the hadith of Hushaym, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Nafi' ibn Jubayr, from Abu Ubaydah ibn Abd Allah, from his father, that the polytheists occupied the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and kept him from four prayers on the day of al-Khandaq, until as much of the night as Allah willed had passed. He said: So he ordered Bilal, who performed the Adhan and then the Iqamah, and he prayed the Dhuhr. Then he ordered him, and he performed the Iqamah, and he prayed the Asr.
