all of those days. He used to recite the takbir in his tent in such a way that the people of the mosque would hear him, and they would recite the takbir, and the people of the marketplaces would recite the takbir, until Mina would reverberate with the takbir (10). Similarly, reciting the takbir is recommended throughout all ten days of Dhu al-Hijjah, based on the saying of Allah the Exalted: "And mention the name of Allah during the known days" (11), just as He said: "And remember Allah during the numbered days" (12). The "known days" are the ten days, and the "numbered days" are the days of Tashriq. Al-Bukhari (13) said: "Ibn Umar and Abu Hurayrah would go out to the marketplace during the ten days, reciting the takbir, and the people would recite the takbir upon hearing their takbir." It is recommended to strive in performing good deeds during these ten days, such as dhikr, prayer, fasting, charity, and all other works of righteousness, due to what Ibn Abbas narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), who said: "There is no action done in days more virtuous than in these days." They asked: "Not even Jihad in the path of Allah?" He replied: "Not even Jihad, except for a man who went out risking his soul and his wealth and did not return with anything." Narrated by al-Bukhari (14).
Section: Ahmad, may Allah have mercy on him, said: There is no harm if a man says to another on the day of Eid: "Taqabbal Allah minna wa mink" (May Allah accept from us and from you). Harb said: Ahmad was asked about people saying on the two Eids: "Taqabbal Allah minna wa minkum" (May Allah accept from us and from you). He said: There is no harm in it; the people of the Levant narrate it from Abu Umamah. It was said: And from Wathilah ibn al-Asqa? He said: Yes. It was said: So you do not dislike that this be said on the day of Eid? He said: No. Ibn Aqil mentioned some traditions regarding Eid greetings, among them that Muhammad ibn Ziyad said: I was
