due to the possibility that he was a Mufrid, and the intercalation of Umrah into Hajj is not permissible. There is no blood sacrifice upon him due to the doubt regarding the existence of its cause.

Section: If he enters into Ihram for two Hajj pilgrimages or two Umrahs, his Ihram for one of them is established, and the other is void. Malik and al-Shafi'i held this view. [Abu Hanifah said] (20): It is established for both, and he is obligated to perform the make-up (qada') for one of them, because he entered into Ihram for it but did not complete it. Our view is that they are two acts of worship which he is not obligated to carry out, so the Ihram for both is not valid, similar to two prayers. Following this, if he corrupts his Hajj (21) or his Umrah, he is not obligated to do anything except perform their make-up. According to Abu Hanifah, he is obligated to perform the make-up for both together, based on the validity of his Ihram for both.

562 - Issue; He said: (When he is established on his mount, he utters the Talbiyah.)

The Talbiyah during Ihram is recommended (masnunah), because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performed it and commanded the raising of the voice with it, and the minimum state of that is recommendation. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was asked, "Which Hajj is best?" He replied: "The 'ajj and the thajj" (1). This is a gharib (rare) hadith. The meaning of 'ajj is raising the voice with the Talbiyah, and thajj is the flowing of blood by the slaughtering and sacrificial offering. Sahl ibn Sa'd narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "There is no Muslim who utters the Talbiyah, but that all that is to his right of stone, tree, or mud (2) utters the Talbiyah with him, until the earth is severed from here and from here." Narrated by Ibn Majah (3), and it is not obligatory.
