all of it. So fear Allah regarding women, for you have taken them under the trust of Allah and have made their private parts lawful to you through the word of Allah. It is your right over them that they should not allow anyone you dislike to step upon your bedding. If they do that, then strike them, but not in a way that causes injury. They have a right over you to their provision and clothing according to what is customary. I have left among you that which you will never go astray after, if you hold fast to it: the Book of Allah. You will be asked about me, so what will you say?" They said, "We bear witness that you have conveyed, fulfilled, and given sincere counsel." He then raised his index finger toward the sky and pointed it toward the people, saying three times, "O Allah, bear witness; O Allah, bear witness." Then he called the Adhan, followed by the Iqamah, and prayed Dhuhr. Then he called the Iqamah and prayed Asr, and did not pray anything between them. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) rode until he reached the place of standing (al-mawqif). He placed the belly of his camel, al-Qaswa, toward the rocks and positioned the path of the pedestrians before him, facing the Qiblah. He remained standing until the sun set and the yellow light disappeared, until the disk of the sun had vanished. He had Usamah ride behind him, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) departed, having tightened the rein of al-Qaswa so much that its head touched the front of his saddle. He signaled with his right hand and said, "O people, tranquility, tranquility." Whenever he came to a sandy hill, he would loosen the rein slightly so that it could ascend, until he reached Muzdalifah, where he prayed Maghrib and Isha with one Adhan and two Iqamahs, and did not pray any supererogatory prayer (tasbih) between them. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) lay down until dawn broke, then he prayed the morning prayer (Subh) as soon as dawn was clear to him, with an Adhan and an Iqamah. Then he rode al-Qaswa until he reached the Mash'ar al-Haram, where he faced the Qiblah, supplicated to Allah, magnified Him (Takbir), declared His oneness (Tahlil and Tawhid), and remained standing until it was very bright.
