495 - Muhammad ibn Ali and al-Hasan ibn Abd al-Wahhab informed us that Muhammad ibn Abi Harb narrated to them, saying: Abu Abd Allah said: "And Said ibn Zayd says in part of his hadith: 'I bear witness.'" Then I returned to the question of Abd Allah and Abu al-Harith. Abd Allah said: My father said: "And likewise are the nine companions of the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, with the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, being the tenth of them. Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He, said: 'And the foremost to embrace Islam of the Muhajirun and the Ansar and also those who followed them exactly (in faith). Allah is well-pleased with them as they are well-pleased with Him. He has prepared for them Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise), to dwell therein forever' [At-Tawbah: 100], and: 'Indeed, Allah was pleased with the believers when they gave the pledge to you under the tree, and He knew what was in their hearts' [Al-Fath: 18], to the end of the verse."
