551 - Abu Usama al-Halabi narrated to us, my father narrated to us, Mubashshir narrated to us: I asked al-Awza'i and said to him: 'Uthman or 'Ali?' He replied: 'As for al-Hasan, he said: Uthman, meaning he was more beloved to him than 'Ali, may Allah have mercy on him.'
