561 - Muhammad informed me, saying: Ja'far narrated to us, saying: I heard Muhammad ibn 'Isa saying: Sharik said: "Whoever claims that the companions of Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, gave precedence to 'Uthman while he was not the most superior among them in their own estimation, has accused the companions of Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, of treachery."
