578 - And Muhammad ibn Abi Harun informed me, saying: Abu al-Saqr al-Warraq narrated to us, saying: Abu 'Abd Allah narrated to us, saying: Abu Salamah al-Khuza'i and Shadhan narrated to us, from 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn Abi Salamah, from 'Ubayd Allah, from Nafi', from Ibn 'Umar, regarding the order of merit, meaning Abu Bakr, then 'Umar, then 'Uthman.
