And Muhammad informed me, saying: Abu Bakr al-Athram narrated to us, saying: 'Abd Allah ibn 'Umar narrated to us, saying: Abu al-Muhayyah al-Taymi narrated to us, from 'Umar ibn Bazi', who said: I heard 'Ali ibn 'Abd Allah ibn 'Abbas while I intended to revile Mu'awiyah, so he said to me: "Desist, do not revile him; for he is the brother-in-law (sihr) of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace)."
