Muhammad ibn Hisn informed us, saying: Muhammad ibn Zunbur narrated to us, saying: Al-Fudayl said: "The most reliable of my deeds in my estimation is the love of Abu Bakr, 'Umar, and Abu 'Ubaydah ibn al-Jarrah, and my love for all of the companions of Muhammad, peace be upon him." He used to pray for mercy upon Mu'awiyah and would say: "He was one of the scholars among the companions of Muhammad, peace be upon him."
