689 - 'Abd Allah ibn Muhammad ibn Shakir informed us, saying: Abu Usamah told us, saying: Nafi' ibn 'Umar al-Jumahi told us, from Ibn Abi Mulaykah, who said: Talhah ibn 'Ubayd Allah said: Based on what I narrate from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), behold, I heard him saying: "'Amr ibn al-'As is one of the righteous ones of Quraysh."
