712 - Al-Hasan ibn 'Arafah informed us, saying: Qutaybah ibn Sa'id al-Balkhi narrated to us, from Layth, from Sa'd, from Mu'awiyah ibn Salih, from Yunus ibn Sayf, from al-Harith ibn Ziyad, that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) prayed for Mu'awiyah, saying: "O Allah, teach him the Book and the Reckoning, and protect him from the punishment."
٧١٢ - أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَرَفَةَ، قَالَ: ثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْبَلْخِيُّ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ، عَنْ سَعْدٍ ⦗٤٦٠⦘، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ سَيْفٍ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَعَا لِمُعَاوِيَةَ فَقَالَ: «اللَّهُمَّ عَلِّمْهُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِسَابَ، وَقِهِ الْعَذَابَ»
