716 - 'Abd Allah informed us, saying: My father narrated to me, saying: Sulayman narrated to us, saying: 'Umarah ibn Mihran narrated to us, saying: Abu Nadrah narrated to us, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, who said: "I do not deny the beginning of the affair. I had not yet prayed the Dhuhr prayer before one of them entered, holding the hand of his companion, as if they were brothers of the same father and mother." He means 'Uthman and 'Ali, may Allah have mercy upon them both.
