756 - And Abu Bakr al-Marrudhi informed us, saying: I heard Abu Abd Allah [Ahmad ibn Hanbal] when the Companions of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, were mentioned to him, and he said: "May Allah have mercy upon them all."
