430 - 'Abd al-Malik informed us, saying: Ibn Hanbal narrated to us, saying: 'Abd Allah ibn Idris narrated to us, saying: Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, from 'Abd Allah ibn 'Amir, who said on the Day of the House (Yawm al-Dar)—meaning 'Uthman—: "The one among them who is of greatest help to me is the man who withholds his hand and his weapon."
٤٣٠ - أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ، قَالَ: ثَنَا ابْنُ حَنْبَلٍ، قَالَ: ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ، قَالَ: ثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، قَالَ يَوْمَ الدَّارِ: يَعْنِي عُثْمَانَ: «إِنَّ أَعْظَمَهُمْ عَنِّي غَنَاءً رَجُلٌ كَفَّ يَدَهُ وَسِلَاحَهُ»
