444 - 'Abd al-Malik informed us, saying: Ibn Hanbal related to us, saying: Wahb ibn Jarir related to us, saying: My father related to me, saying: I heard Ya'la ibn Hakim narrate from Nafi', that Ibn 'Umar said: "Ibn 'Abbas never ceased forbidding the killing of 'Uthman and magnifying his status, until I began to blame myself for not having said what he said."
