935 - 'Abd Allah ibn Ahmad informed us, saying: Muhammad ibn Bakkar narrated to us, saying: Abu Ma'shar narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Ka'b, that he said: "He is called the Compeller (al-Jabbar) because He compels the creation to do what He wills."

936 - Muhammad ibn 'Abd al-Rahman al-Dimyati informed us, saying: Sa'id ibn Mansur narrated to us, saying: Abu Ma'shar narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Ka'b, the like of it.
