827 - Al-Abbas ibn Muhammad al-Duri informed us, saying: I heard Muhadir, and I saw in his books some hadith that had been struck through (marked as rejected). I said, 'What are these hadith that have been struck through?' He replied, 'These are scorpions; Ibn Abi Shaybah forbade me from narrating them.'
