874 - Mansur ibn al-Walid al-Naysaburi informed me that Ja'far ibn Muhammad al-Nasa'i narrated to them, saying: I heard Abu al-'Abbas, the companion of Abu 'Ubayd, ask Abu 'Abd Allah about someone who denies the knowledge (al-'ilm). He replied: 'He is to be asked to repent; if he repents, [it is accepted], otherwise I would strike his neck.'
