1166 - Abu Abd Allah narrated to us, saying: Ibrahim ibn Khalid narrated to us, saying: Rabah narrated to me, from Ma'mar, from Ibn Tawus, from his father, who said: "The likeness of faith is like a tree; its root is the testimony (shahada), its trunk and its leaves are such and such, and its fruit is piety (wara'). There is no good in a tree that has no fruit, and there is no good in a human who has no piety."
