1168 - He said: Abu Abd Allah narrated to us, saying: A man narrated to us—and that man was Ali—from Jarir ibn Abd al-Hamid, from Mughira, from Simak ibn Salamah al-Dabbi, from Abd al-Rahman ibn 'Ismah, who said: I was with Aisha, may Allah have mercy upon her, when the messenger of Mu'awiyah came to her with a gift and said: The Commander of the Faithful has sent this to you. She said: "The Commander of the Faithful, if Allah wills, and he is your commander." And she accepted the gift.
