1200 - He said: Abu 'Abd Allah narrated to us, he said: Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, he said: Malik narrated to us, he said: al-Zuhri narrated to us, from Salim, from his father, that a man from the Ansar was admonishing his brother regarding modesty. The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Leave him, for indeed modesty is from faith."
١٢٠٠ - قَالَ: وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ: ثنا مَالِكٌ، قَالَ: ثنا الزُّهْرِيُّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ كَانَ يَعِظُ أَخَاهُ فِي الْحَيَاءِ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «دَعْهُ، فَإِنَّ الْحَيَاءَ مِنَ الْإِيمَانِ»
