1246 - He said: Abu 'Abd Allah narrated to us, he said: Mu'awiyah ibn 'Amr narrated to us, he said: Abu Ishaq narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, who said: "The fornicator does not commit fornication at the time he is committing it while he is a believer, nor does the thief commit theft at the time he is stealing while he is a believer, nor does he drink wine at the time he is drinking it while he is a believer, and repentance is available after that."

1247 - And he said: Abu 'Abd Allah narrated to us, he said: Mu'awiyah narrated to us, he said: Abu Ishaq narrated to us, from al-Awza'i, from al-Zuhri, from Abu Salamah, Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib, and Abu Bakr ibn al-Harith, from Abu Hurayrah, the like of it, except that he added in it: "Nor does he plunder a plunder of high status which the believers lift their eyes toward, at the time he is plundering it while he is a believer." And he did not mention repentance in his narration.
