1259 - Abu 'Abd Allah narrated to me, he said: Yazid narrated to us. And 'Abd al-Malik al-Maymuni narrated to me, he said: Ibn Hanbal narrated to us, he said: Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, he said: al-'Awwam narrated to us, he said: 'Ali ibn Mudrik narrated to me, from Abu Zur'ah, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: "Faith is delicate/pure: if he commits adultery, faith departs from him; then if he blames himself and repents, faith returns to him."
