Ibn Mahdi said: Ibn Abi Usayd, from 'Abd Allah ibn Abi Qatadah, from Jabir ibn 'Abd Allah, that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever leaves the Jumu'ah (Friday) prayer three times without an excuse"—Ibn Mahdi said: without a necessity—"a seal shall be placed upon his heart." Ibn Mahdi said: "Allah shall place a seal upon his heart."
