1620 - He said: Abu 'Abd Allah narrated to us, saying: 'Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, saying: Hammad b. Salamah narrated to us, from 'Asim, from Abu Salih, from Ka'b, who said: "Whoever establishes prayer, gives zakat, and listens and obeys, has reached the midpoint of faith; and whoever loves for the sake of Allah, hates for the sake of Allah, gives for the sake of Allah, and withholds for the sake of Allah, has indeed perfected faith."
١٦٢٠ - قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، قَالَ: ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ كَعْبٍ، قَالَ: " مَنْ أَقَامَ الصَّلَاةَ، وآتَى الزَّكَاةَ، وَسَمِعَ وَأَطَاعَ، فَقَدْ تَوَسَّطَ الْإِيمَانَ، وَمَنْ أَحَبَّ فِي اللَّهِ، وَأَبْغَضَ فِي اللَّهِ، وَأَعْطَى لِلَّهِ، وَمَنَعَ لِلَّهِ، فَقَدِ اسْتَكْمَلَ الْإِيمَانَ
