1621 - He said: Abu 'Abd Allah narrated to us, saying: 'Abd al-Samad b. 'Abd al-Warith narrated to us, saying: Abu Hilal narrated to us, saying: Qatadah narrated, from Anas, who said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) never delivered a sermon without saying: "There is no faith for the one who has no trustworthiness (amanah), and there is no religion for the one who has no covenant (ahd)."
١٦٢١ - قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: ثنا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ، قَالَ: ثنا أَبُو هِلَالٍ، قَالَ: ثنا قَتَادَةُ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ: مَا خَطَبَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، إِلَّا قَالَ: «لَا إِيمَانَ لِمَنْ لَا أَمَانَةَ لَهُ، وَلَا دِينَ لِمَنْ لَا عَهْدَ لَهُ»
