1629 - He said: Abu 'Abd Allah narrated to us, saying: Jarir narrated to us, from Mansur, from Abu Wa'il, who said: 'Abd Allah said: "There are three things, whoever possesses them is a hypocrite: when he speaks, he lies; when he makes a promise, he breaks it; and when he is entrusted, he betrays. Whoever possesses one of these traits, it is a trait of hypocrisy until he abandons it."
١٦٢٩ - قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: ثنا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ: " ثَلَاثٌ مَنْ كُنَّ فِيهِ فَهُوَ مُنَافِقٌ: مَنْ حَدَّثَ فَكَذَبَ، وَوَعَدَ فَأَخْلَفَ، وَائْتُمِنَ فَخَانَ، فَمَنْ كَانَتْ فِيهِ خَصْلَةٌ مِنْهُنَّ، فَهِيَ خَصْلَةٌ مِنَ النِّفَاقِ حَتَّى يَدَعَهَا "
