1632 - Abu 'Abd Allah narrated to us, saying: Al-Hasan ibn Musa and Bahz narrated to us, saying: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from 'Asim ibn Bahdalah, from Abu Wa'il, from Ibn Mas'ud, that he said: "There are three things, whoever possesses them is a hypocrite: if he speaks, he lies; if he makes a promise, he breaks it; and if he is entrusted, he betrays it." He said: Then 'Abd Allah ibn 'Amr ibn al-'As said, and Hasan added: "And if he disputes, he acts immorally, and if he makes a covenant, he acts treacherously."
١٦٣٢ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى، وَبَهْزٌ، قَالَا: ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ ابْنِ بَهْدَلَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " ثَلَاثٌ مَنْ كُنَّ فِيهِ فَهُوَ مُنَافِقٌ: إِذَا حَدَّثَ كَذَبَ، وَإِذَا وَعَدَ أَخْلَفَ، وَإِذَا ائْتُمِنَ خَانَ ". قَالَ: فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ، قَالَ حَسَنٌ: «وَإِذَا خَاصَمَ فَجَرَ، وَإِذَا عَاهَدَ غَدَرَ»
