1638 - He said: Abu 'Abd Allah narrated to us, saying: Sulayman ibn Dawud narrated to us, saying: 'Imran narrated to us, from Qatadah, from Nasr ibn 'Asim al-Laythi, from Mu'awiyah al-Laythi, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "People will be in a state of drought, then Allah will send down upon them a provision from His provision, and they will wake up as polytheists." It was said to him: How is that, O Messenger of Allah? He said: "They will say: We have been given rain by the setting of such-and-such star."
١٦٣٨ - قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ، قَالَ: ثنا ⦗٧٠⦘ عِمْرَانُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ نَصْرِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ اللَّيْثِيِّ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ اللَّيْثِيِّ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «يَكُونُ النَّاسُ مُجْدِبِينَ، فَيُنَزِّلُ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ رِزْقًا مِنْ رِزْقِهِ، فَيُصْبِحُونَ مُشْرِكِينَ» . فَقِيلَ لَهُ: كَيْفَ ذَاكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ؟ قَالَ: " يَقُولُونَ: مُطِرْنَا بِنَوْءِ كَذَا وَكَذَا "
