1644 - He said: Abu 'Abd Allah narrated to us, saying: Yazid narrated to us, saying: Abu al-Ashhab narrated to us, saying: al-Hasan narrated, saying: "They used to say: Hypocrisy consists of the difference between the tongue and the heart, the inconsistency between the secret and the public, and the difference between entering and exiting."
١٦٤٤ - قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: ثنا يَزِيدُ، قَالَ: ثنا أَبُو الْأَشْهَبِ، قَالَ: ثنا الْحَسَنُ، قَالَ: " كَانُوا يَقُولُونَ: مِنَ النِّفَاقِ اخْتِلَافُ اللِّسَانِ وَالْقَلْبِ، وَاخْتِلَالُ السِّرِّ وَالْعَلَانِيَةِ، وَاخْتِلَافُ الدُّخُولِ وَالْخُرُوجِ "
