1661 - He said: Abu 'Abd Allah narrated to us, saying: 'Affan narrated to us, saying: Abu al-Ashhab narrated to us, saying: Tarif ibn Shihab narrated to us, saying: I said to al-Hasan: "Indeed, there are people who claim that there is no hypocrisy, and they do not fear hypocrisy." Al-Hasan replied: "By Allah, for me to know that I am free from hypocrisy is more beloved to me than an earth-fill of gold." Abu 'Ali said: "Tila' al-ard" means that which fills it.
١٦٦١ - قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: ثنا عَفَّانُ، قَالَ: ثنا أَبُو ⦗٧٧⦘ الْأَشْهَبِ، قَالَ: ثنا طَرِيفُ بْنُ شِهَابٍ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِلْحَسَنِ: إِنَّ أَقْوَامًا يَزْعُمُونَ أَنْ لَا نِفَاقَ , وَلَا يَخَافُونَ النِّفَاقَ. فَقَالَ الْحَسَنُ: «وَاللَّهِ، لَأَنْ أَكُونَ أَعْلَمُ أَنِّي بَرِيءٌ مِنَ النِّفَاقِ، أَحَبُّ إِلَى مِنْ طِلَاعِ الْأَرْضِ ذَهَبًا» . قَالَ أَبُو عَلِيٍّ: لَكَ طِلَاعَ الْأَرْضِ: مِلْؤُهَا
